Event Description

A new exhibition, Views from Oregon: Sixteen Artists, will open at the Ucross Foundation Art Gallery on Monday, February 6. The multidisciplinary exhibition features a wide range of photography, painting, sculpture, and mixed media. All of the artists spent time in residence at Ucross Foundation between 2013 and 2016 through a partnership with The Ford Family Foundation. The exhibition presents forty-eight works by these accomplished Oregon artists. A gallery reception will take place on Saturday, April 22, from 4 – 6 p.m.

A publication celebrating the artists will be available in late February.

The exhibition will be on view through May 12 and is supported in part by BNSF Railway Foundation and the Wyoming Arts Council, through funding from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Wyoming State Legislature.

The Ucross Foundation Art Gallery is located ½ mile east of the intersection of Highways 14 and 16 East in Ucross. Gallery hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. For further information, contact (307) 737-2291 or info@ucross.org
