Event Description

Come join the June Frison Chapter of the Wyoming Archaeological Society for the first meeting of 2018! The speaker for February is Wesley Vanosdall, a PhD student in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Wyoming. Wesley’s lecture is titled “Bodies, Artifacts, and Identities: Reexamining Materials and Meanings from 19th-century Overseas Chinese Burials from Evanston, Wyoming,” which she will deliver after a short business meeting. You do not need to be a member of the Society to attend, and new members from the community with an interest in archaeology are always welcome to join!
