Event Description

One of several birds that makes a weekly trip to the visitor center

The National Elk Refuge is again partnering with the Teton Raptor Center to present a series of “Feathered Friday” visits this winter at the Jackson Hole & Greater Yellowstone Visitor Center, located at 532 N. Cache in Jackson. The programs, offered each Friday from 12:00-2:00 pm, will run weekly from December 23 through March 31. The informal programs, offered free of charge, will feature several live birds of prey and allow visitors to learn about and photograph the birds from an arm's length away. The avian ambassadors can be viewed at http://bit.ly/2erHoYo.

New this season: school groups can sign up for a Friday group raptor session from 11:30 am-12:00 pm by contacting Natalie Fath at 307.739.9322 or natalie_fath@fws.gov.
