DEQ has already imposed stricter rules on new energy equipment, and now they plan to limit emissions from older, grandfathered facilities, as well. But spokesman Keith Guille says they aren't able to regulate everything.
Wed, 23 Apr 2014 01:14:20 +0000 Willow Belden 57226 at http://wyomingpublicmedia.org DEQ Says Jurisdictional Issues Will Limit Their Rulemaking Authority Near Pinedale Pinedale Air Improves As State Toughens Industry Regs http://wyomingpublicmedia.org/post/pinedale-air-improves-state-toughens-industry-regs

Fri, 11 Apr 2014 22:10:36 +0000 Willow Belden 56713 at http://wyomingpublicmedia.org Pinedale Air Improves As State Toughens Industry Regs DEQ Drafts Rules To Limit Emissions Near Pinedale http://wyomingpublicmedia.org/post/deq-drafts-rules-limit-emissions-near-pinedale
Energy companies operating near Pinedale will soon have to retrofit their older equipment to curb emissions.

Natural gas development in the Pinedale Anticline gas field has caused air pollution, to the extent that the area violates federal air quality standards.
