Wyoming Public Media will bring another season from The Metropolitan Opera, airing every Saturday on Classical Wyoming, in December 2017. 

Classical Wyoming presents the Metropolitan Opera Radio National Council Finals Concert

May 27, at 11:00 a.m. The Finals Concert took place on March 19 with Maestro Nicola Luisotti leading the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. It was hosted by soprano Renée Fleming, with special guest artists soprano Amber Wagner, mezzo-soprano Jamie Barton, and tenor Michael Fabiano. 

The winners of the 2017 National Council Grand Finals Concert: Kyle van Schoonhoven, Vanessa Vasquez, Samantha Hankey, Kirsten MacKinnon, Aryeh Nussbaum Cohen, and Richard Smagur.

The 86th season broadcasts with the Toll Brothers–Metropolitan Opera International Radio Network, ended on May 13th, 2017. The opera will once again be heard over the air starting in December 2017. 

The Met’s 2017–18 season will feature 25 works across a wide range of repertory. The five new productions include a new staging of Puccini’s Tosca, starring Kristine Opolais and Vittorio Grigolo, directed by Sir David McVicar.
