Blizzard warning posted for SE Wyoming

Laramie, Wyo. – There's bad weather moving from west to east across the state this evening. The National Weather Service has posted a blizzard warning for southeast Wyoming beginning late tonight. Snowfall could total a foot, with high winds and poor visibility. There are winter weather advisories and winter storm warnings posted across much of the rest of the state, as well. According to Associated Press reports, as much as 13 inches of snow has fallen in the western mountains since the start of this winter storm.

Wyoming legislature contributes to county libraries

Laramie, Wyo. – All of Wyoming's 23 public county libraries recently received checks for $100,000. That's part of a long-term fundraising campaign designed to build endowments at each county library across the state. The checks came through a program created by the Wyoming legislature. Under a measure that took effect in 2008, the state is contributing matching donations to local libraries.
