Wind topples trees, forces truckers to pull over

Cheyenne, Wyo. – Wind gusts over 65 mph have driven tractor trailers off highways and toppled trees across Wyoming.

State highway authorities said Monday that strong winds forced "numerous" truck drivers to pull over and park alongside Interstate 25. Two trailers tipped over, but neither driver was seriously hurt. One of the toppled trailers briefly closed parts of southbound Interstate 25; the other came to rest in a median.

WY unemployment fell in April

Rock Creek will be the site of a writer's camp.

Wyoming – The Wyoming Wilderness Association will be hosting a summer writers retreat this summer with Gretel Ehrlich. It will be held in the Rock Creek area in the Big Horns August 6th-9th. Sara Domek is with the Wilderness association and she explains where the idea for this retreat came from.
