Cheyenne, WY – The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to hear an appeal from Wyoming's lone death row inmate. Attorneys for Dale Wayne Eaton had petitioned the nation's highest court in December to consider his case. On Monday, the petition was denied. Eaton was convicted of the 1988 kidnapping, rape and murder of 18-year-old Lisa Marie Kimmell, whose hometown was Billings, Mont. He still has other options for appeals. Wyoming last executed a prisoner in 1992.
