Laramie City Council Is Cautious About Development

Laramie, Wy – The Laramie city council wants a little more time to consider a proposal on whether to allow a housing development and golf course east of town. The proposal to build would be next to the current Jacoby Golf course and right over a sensitive portion of Laramie's main water supply. City Council member Joe Hageman wants the city to update the aquifer protection plan and to be especially careful in this sensitive area.Meanwhile, Councilman Seth Carson wants the city and the University to consider building their golf course and development in another area of town.
