Laramie, WY – A report from Wyoming's Division of Criminal Investigation shows there were nearly 800 incidents of domestic violence reported in the spring quarter. That does not differ much from previous quarters. But Division of Victims Services Director Julie Tennant-Caine says the figure isn't as straight forward as it seems, because it only includes incidents reported to law enforcement.
Tennant-Caine says her agency does help women who choose not to report domestic violence to law enforcement.
Laramie, Natrona, and Campbell Counties reported the most incidents of domestic violence in the quarter that ended this June.
