Cheyenne, WY – This week an advocacy group filed a lawsuit against Wyoming officials over problems at the State Hospital. Wednesday, Attorney General Pat Crank responded. He says it would have been better if the advocacy group worked with the state because he felt like the two had been cooperating well. Now, Crank says they'll have to have a more adversarial relationship because of the lawsuit. The suit claims that staff shortages have made conditions at the State Hospital dangerous for patients and staff. Crank says many of these characterizations are inaccurate and says things at the hospital have improved over the last year.
