Antler collecting season ends in western Wyoming
Laramie, WY – Collecting antlers and horns shed from big-game animals is now prohibited on public lands in Wyoming west of the Continental Divide.
The annual restriction begins each Jan. 1 and ends April 30.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission implemented the seasonal restrictions for the first time last year. The concern was that antler collectors could harass wildlife.
Neighboring Colorado and Utah have implemented similar laws.
