Cheyenne, Wy – The Wyoming Highway Patrol says officers at the state Capitol intercepted a letter containing an unidentified white powder addressed to Gov. Dave Freudenthal, but
no building evacuation was required.

at more than a dozen other state capitals this week, including on
Thursday in South Carolina, Georgia, Kansas, Tennessee, Utah, New
Mexico and North Dakota.
The Wyoming Office of Homeland Security, the FBI and the Wyoming
National Guard's Civil Support Team assisted in investigating the
