Big Horn Basin Beet Harvest Going Well
Laramie, Wy – The sugar beet harvest in the Big Horn Basin of northern Wyoming continues to look good both in terms of yield and sugar content.
Sugar content is said to be excellent this time of year, which
means more sugar produced and more money for producers.
And that is good news to the local economy.
The beet business employs 64-hundred people in Wyoming a year, many of them in the Big Horn Basin.
