Candidate Hunkins Supports Med School Study

Laramie, Wy – The Republican candidate for governor Ray Hunkins says it is time for the state to again look at building a medical school. In fact he says if elected he will commission a study to consider a Regional Health Training Center, which would include a medical school, but it would be more than that, it could also train other health care professionals.
Hunkins says the study would take a year and cost about 100 thousand dollars. He notes a study that shows Wyoming will need an extra 50 family practice doctors and he wonders if Governor Freudenthal has a plan.
