Fargo, North Dakota – A candidate for the University of Wyoming President's post will pull out.
North Dakota State University President Joseph Chapman was a finalist for the U-W post and was supposed to interview in Laramie on Thursday. But in attempt to keep him, students at North Dakota State held a rally in his behalf. Chapman addressed the crowd and told them he will remove his name for consideration for the Wyoming job. He plans to tell U-W of his decision sometime today. It leaves Loren Crabtree of Tennessee and Tom Buchanan of Wyoming as the only two finalists. Crabtree is scheduled to interview next week.
