Laramie, Wy – A Casper company is finishing up a huge deal with the state of Oregon. Aqua Technologies of Wyoming produces a type of clay that can be used to clean up oil contamination. President, Tony Brown says it is going to an Environmental Protection Agency Superfund site polluted with creosote. He says the deal is for over a million dollars and is significant for his 30 person company.
Brown says if the clay works as planned in Oregon it will be used again. He says he plans to expand his plant and hire up to 70 more people in Wyoming.
