Casper, WY – The Central Wyoming Counseling Center in
Casper has raised more than two-thirds of the nearly eight (m) million dollars it needs to build a drug treatment center. Public and private contributors have so far pledged nearly five-and-a-half (m) million dollars for the project. Mike Huston is executive director of the nonprofit center. He says the center's goal is to raise the remaining two-point-three (m) million dollars through private donations. The facility is expected to have 86 beds and offer treatment for
a variety of addictions, including methamphetamine, alcohol and prescription drug abuse.
