Cattlemen Disapprove of Ethanol Boom

Laramie, WY –
The cattle industry doesn't support the nation's drive to produce more ethanol as an alternative fuel because it artificially alters the price of corn. That's according to the Wyoming Stock Growers Association's Jim Magagna. He says stock growers are worried about politics in Washington D-C.

Corn sells for about 3-dollars and 40 cents on the Chicago Board of Trade. Magagna says that's above average and makes it more expensive to feed cattle.
