Cheyenne, WY – The chief executive officer at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is resigning after staff and physicians expressed lack of confidence in the hospital leadership.
Dr. Steven Beer, a neurosurgeon, said communication with CEO Charles Harms has been poor and that staff recently held a meeting to discuss workplace satisfaction.
The hospital board announced Friday that Harms would resign effective Nov. 1.
The board said in a release that Harms has been a "valued leader" and that the board is grateful for his financial management.
Harms has been with the hospital since 2004.
