Colorado Man Accused Of Starting Fire

Jackson, Wy – A Colorado man faces
several charges after starting an illegal campfire in Grand Teton
National Park that grew to one-half acre before being controlled.
Park officials say 20-year-old Ryan Dobbs, of Steamboat Springs,
has been charged with four misdemeanor offenses: illegal camping,
an illegal fire, illegal possession of alcohol, and possession of
illegal drugs.
Dobbs will appear at a later date before a U-S Magistrate in
Jackson.
The National Park Service says Dobbs started a fire to warm
himself on Thursday night in an area that is off limits to
campfires.
The fire was located south of Signal Mountain Lodge in the park
in northwest Wyoming.
Firefighters began fighting the fire Saturday afternoon after it
was reported by other park visitors.
