Jackson, Wy – The Teton County Commission will consider a
proposal that would allow guest houses to double in size.
The commission meets tomorrow (Tuesday) to consider the change.
Proponents of the change say it would provide more affordable
housing and reduce traffic because fewer people would have to
commute from outside the county.
But opponents say it would increase density in rural areas and
generate additional traffic.
Planning staff members have estimated larger guesthouses would
add five thousand residents to the valley.
