Laramie, Wyo. – The rivalry game has been played in three different centuries. In 1899, CSU won the first meeting 12 to 0 in Fort Collins. This year, there's a lot on line for the Rams.
CSU is 5 and 6 and a win against the Cowboys would make them eligible for a bowl game. The Cowboys, on the other hand, can only play the role of spoiler. U-W has won four games, and they have only captured one win in the Mountain West Conference.
For at least 15 seniors, tomorrow's 11-oclock game will be the last played in a Cowboy's uniform. This could also be the last hurrah for Coach Joe Glenn. At the start of the season, officials said they expected at least 7 wins out of the team, a mark that Glenn and the cowboys will be unable to reach.
