Sacramento, CA – There's more information out about a fatal air tanker crash Wednesday night in Northern California. A spokesman for the National Interagency Fire Center says the P-3 Orion was one of ten planes approved earlier this week to return to firefighting duty. The government had pulled the same type of plane from service last year because of safety concerns. All three crewmembers on board were killed in Wednesday's crash. Federal investigators will be back at the scene today to try to determine what caused the plane to crash.
