D-Day Anniversary Marked with Documentary

Laramie, Wy – A documentary film about D-Day is being
shown at a church in Casper Tuesday night, and both the director and one of the men in the film are planning to be there.
The film is called "Lest They Be Forgotten -- Omaha Beach D-Day Volume Two." It's a follow-up to an earlier film about D-Day that Larry Cappetto has made.
Cappetto lives in Grand Junction, Colorado. He says it's NOT cheap to make the documentaries, but it's his way of saying "thank you" to veterans.
Tomorrow is the 62nd anniversary of D-Day. The film is scheduled to be shown at 6:30 p-m at Highland Park Community Church.
Both Cappetto and 83-year-old Normandy veteran Lewis Johnson are planning to attend the Casper screening.
Cappetto plans to remain in Casper for a couple days to interview veterans for upcoming films. He says he's looking for helicopter veterans from Vietnam, Chosin Reservoir veterans from Korea, and World War Two nurses and veterans of Normandy, Iwo Jima and the Bataan Death March.
