Laramie, WY – Wyoming consumers who believe they were deceived by the computer company Dell are now eligible for settlement funds. Dell has agreed to pay 25-thousand dollars to Wyoming residents after accusations the company made misleading financing and service offers to PC buyers.
Wyoming Assistant Attorney General Ken Miller says their office's website lists which consumers are eligible for retribution: "People who may have had financing problems, financing promises or promotions that were not met warranty service that did not occur.... as well as extended warranties that were not met and finally some individuals were promised a rebate that they did not receive."
The settlement applies to customers who bought a Dell between April 2005 and January 12th of this year. Dell settled with 34 other states earlier this month.
