Democratic candidate Leslie Petersen says state needs to be committed to clean energy

Laramie, Wy –
A Democratic Candidate for Governor says the state will need to remain committed to find cleaner ways to develop energy, especially coal. Leslie Petersen says Wyoming must continue to work on efforts such as storing carbon emissions underground and look at developing coal cleaner.
"We should try to be absolutely cutting edge on the technology that's going to be required to find ways to use coal in cleaner ways."
Petersen says the energy industry will continue to play a role in the state but she says things must be done as clean as possible in order to protect Wyoming's environment and wildlife.
