Laramie, WY – One Cheyenne economist says Frontier Days may not supply the economic boom it once did. Dick O'Gara of the Wyoming Center for Business and Economic Analysis says he predicts the 10-day western festival brought in about 80-thousand people and 24 million dollars last week. O'Gara says the money does help the economy by adding jobs. Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce Spokeswoman Angie Harper says the city brings in an extra 300-thousand dollars in sales tax every July.
