Energy Bill Set to Pass With Support From Wyoming Delegation

Washington, D.C. – The nation is finally poised to have a guiding energy policy. The large energy bill already passed the U-S House and the Senate should vote on it today. Representative Barbara Cubin voted for the bill and says it should increase energy development in Wyoming, meaning more revenue for the state.
Senator Mike Enzi says the bill has incentives for wind and coal energy. He says the national policy was a long time coming, but there were several factors pushing the issue this year, including the price of oil hitting sixty dollars a barrel.
Enzi warns that this policy will not bring down the cost of gasoline any time soon.
