Enzi to Nominate New US Attorney
Washington D.C. – Senator Mike Enzi is now accepting resumes and letters of interest from attorneys who want to become Wyoming's next U-S attorney. As Wyoming's senior senator, it's up to Enzi to nominate the replacement for Matt Mead, who resigned June 7 so that he could be considered to replace Senator Craig Thomas. Mead is NOT one of the three finalists for the job. Enzi says he is accepting resumes and letters of interest for the U-S attorney job until next Tuesday. His nomination does to President Bush. The nominee is then considered by the U-S Senate.
