Freudenthal: Election Does Not Mean Political Capital

Laramie, WY – Governor Dave Freudenthal says he's humbled by the results of last week's election. He won a second term in office with 70 percent of the vote. Freudenthal says he does not see that as giving him any political capital. His sense is that the people just liked the tone of his campaign, which he characterizes as positive. Freudenthal says he also thinks voters support policies like funding a wildlife trust fund to pay for restoring and improving habitat. The governor says, at this point, he is not considering running for office again in four years, but he says in politics, never say never.
