Laramie, Wy – With reports that the Bald Eagle has exceeded recovery goals most give heavy praise to the endangered species act for the birds recovery. Wyoming Audubon Director Brian Rutledge is among them but he notes that the act has had other successes as well. Rutledge thinks the act has done a lot to help officials react before wildlife reaches threatened levels. But Rutledge says there are threats to the all species including the bald eagle as heavy energy development continues. He says the future of all of these animals remains unclear.
