Cheyenne, WY – The Wyoming game and fish department is hoping to increase most hunting and fishing fees. They also want annual increases into the future. The proposals are currently before the Wyoming House of Representatives. While two bills addressing the changes received initial support, some fear that it could make hunting and fishing a rich persons sport. But House Travel Recreation and Wildlife committee chairman Pat Childers disagrees. He says the endangered species act and new duties for the game and fish more then justifies their need for annual license increases.
