Cheyenne, WY – A bill that increases hunting and fishing fees is headed to the governor for signature. Today the senate passed the measure. It would increase fees by 20 percent. State Senator Mike Massie, says this is important for the Game and Fish Department. The state senate killed a different bill that would have allowed the Game and Fish Department to increase fees each year to keep up with inflation. Massie says this might mean the agency will fall behind in funding if the legislature doesn't increase fees again in four years.
