Cheyenne, Wy – With Gas and other utility prices expected to skyrocket this winter the Wyoming Public Service Commission wants people to be prepared. P-S-C Chairman Steve Furtney says the market is driving costs up and there is little anyone can do. Furtney says costs will rise by 25 to 50 percent this winter. Furtney is urging all residents to conserve, but people on fixed incomes should be able to find some assistance. He says a variety of programs can be found through the Department of Family Services website, or by contacting your local senior center.
