Cheyenne, Wy – Governor Freudenthal remains lukewarm over the proposal to remove the sales tax from food. Representative Ann Robinson of Casper is among those working on the proposal. She says a typical family of three would be able to buy 100 gallons of milk with the extra money they would keep. But Governor Freudenthal doubts the impact would be that great.
Freudenthal thinks the money might be better spent in addressing health care costs facing citizens in the state.
