Governor says stimulus money certainly helps

Cheyenne, Wy –

Some have questioned whether federal stimulus money has created jobs but Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal says that is tough to prove. Freudenthal says the money has had a positive impact on the economy. Especially money devoted to highways.
"If you pulled out that 200 or 220 million dollars of construction funding, if you pulled that out, people would lose their jobs. I just don't know how many."
Freudenthal says the federal government will eventually ask what the money has done for job creation, but he says that will be difficult to evaluate.
