Laramie, WY – Lately, weather conditions in much of the state have been ideal for grasshoppers. And officials were already predicting grasshopper outbreak this summer.
In response low-flying airplanes have sprayed pesticides over more than 1.4 million acres of Campbell County.
The assistant weed and pest supervisor in Campbell County says it's a bit soon yet to tell if the aerial spraying is working.
But he says some ranchers say they're seeing fewer grasshoppers than before the spraying.
