H1N1 Flu precautions needed

Laramie, Wy –
The state epidemiologist predicts an active flu season this fall and winter. Doctor Tracy Murphy says since there is still no vaccine for the H1-N1 or Swine flu, so he expects the flu to spread in heavily occupied places such as schools. In an effort to prevent an outbreak, Murphy has some simple advice.
"Is for sick people to stay home from work and school and to try and minimize the number of people who have contact with an ill person. To have one family member do most of the caretaking."
Murphy says it's also important that people take additional precautions like frequently washing their hands. He also says people need to be sure to get H1N1 vaccines when they become available.
