Hathaway Plan Continues To Be Formed

Casper, Wy –
The changes to the Hathaway Scholarship program are coming fast and furious as a committee hashes out details of the plan. In the second day of meeting this month, the committee decided to bump up the scholarship amounts to between 1000 and 2000 dollars a semester. Previously the pay out per student was going to be between 750 and 1250 dollars. As for when the state will start giving out this money it looks like next fall is too soon. Since getting appropriate funding could be a challenge.
Meanwhile, the committee looking into the plan says money can be used at both the University of Wyoming and a Wyoming Community College. It also can include Part Time Students.
