Laramie, Wy – Your heating bills could be quite a bit higher this winter. Wyoming's Consumer Advocate Bryce Freeman says as the short supply of natural gas continue, prices are likely to skyrocket this winter. Freeman says the increase could be substantial, with a hike close to 30 percent. Freeman says the average person can expect to pay about 15 dollars more a month for natural gas, and quite a bit more if we have a cold winter. Freeman says there is some assistance available for low or fixed income consumers, but he urges people to apply for it early.
