Laramie, WY – Holocaust survivor and Denver resident Jack Adler visited the university of Wyoming Monday afternoon to share his story of terror and survival. Adler shared details of his time as a prisoner of the Nazis in ghettos extermination camps and concentration camps. He cautioned the audience to speak out against hate in any form and reminded listeners that hate groups including anti-semitic groups still operate throughout the united states. But adler says the turnout for his talk gives him hope. Adler was liberated from the Nazis in 1945 when he was 16. A foster family took the him in the following year in the united states. No one else from his immediate family of 6 survived.
