Cheyenne, WY – A bill to take the term limits law off the books took another step as it makes its way through the House. Representatives have amended the bill to not only include legislators and members of congress, but also the states top five elected officials. The Supreme Court ruled term limits for legislators unconstitutional last year, but did not rule on the top officials, like the Governor. Judiciary Chairman Jack Landon thinks it's the right think to do. But Thermopolis Representative Lorraine Quarberg thinks it is up to the officials themselves to challenge the constitutionality of the law. The bill will be heard for a final time on Thursday.
