Rock Springs, Wy – Wyoming's housing market is tight in just about every corner of the state. But in areas experiencing an energy boom affordable housing can be nearly impossible to find. Rock springs official and affordable housing advocate Lisa Skiles Parady says many Wyoming communities are struggling in particular to navigate the world of funding resources.
For that reason affordable housing advocates community developers and more will gather at the Sheridan Holiday Inn at the end of this month for a Wyoming housing conference. They'll attend workshops with lenders planners and government officials about some of the strategies available for easing that housing crunch. Organizer Lisa Skiles Parady says attendees will have the opportunity to meet one on one with experts to discuss their communities' specific needs.
