Laramie, WY – With up to four inches of rainfall predicted in Crook County between now and Friday night, officials in that County are preparing for possible flooding. Crook County Emergency Management's Katie Allen says volunteers are standing by if weather forecasts come true with an eye particularly on the town of Hulett.
"Well the worst case scenario is actually at Hulett at this time where we have approximately 20 to 25 families that would need to be evacuated. Fortunately we've had enough notice so that they are already prepared to go if need be and they have family that they can go to."
Crook County is one of eight counties in the state under high risk of flooding.
