Cheyenne, WY – The Wyoming House of Representatives is moving forward with a new study of toll roads. The bill would approve the second study of the feasibility of the idea for Interstate 80. Representative Tim Hallinan of Gillette says the high cost of maintaining the highway means that the state needs to find other sources of money. Hallinan says the study will look at what the state could lose with a toll road and where a booth can be placed. The Governor has not supported the concept, saying that it is up to the federal government to maintain interstate highways.
