Casper, WY – Wyoming Game and Fish Department officials are still concerned about a walleye found in Granite Reservoir last month. The problem is that the cold water in the reservoir is not good for walleye. Regional Fisheries Supervisor Mike Snigg says it leads to other problems. He says all the waters in Wyoming are managed by fisheries professionals to provide the best fishing opportunities to the public. Snigg says any intentional or unintentional illegal fish introduction can create problems for fisheries managers. He says it could result in decreased fishing opportunities for the public and greater expenses for the Game and Fish department.
