A Scientist says there are still too many unanswered questions concerning the Governments proposal to develop Plutonium 238 at the Idaho National Laboratory in Idaho Falls. The President of the Institute for Energy and Environmental Research in Washington D-C.says the safety of developing the highly radioactive Plutonium is a huge question mark. He thinks developing better oversight of the Department of Energy efforts is needed.
He and others will share views during a public meeting in Jackson Saturday night, sponsored by the Group Keep Yellowstone Nuclear Free. The meeting begins at 5:30 at the Snow King Resort.
