Jackson Hole Businesses Struggle to Get Summer Workers

Jackson, WY – Jackson Hole area businesses are trying to
fill seasonal jobs as they gear up for the busy summer tourist season. Many employers in the Jackson Hole area rely on foreign workers because they cannot hope to fill all their seasonal positions with
local high school and college students on break. But record numbers of applications and bottlenecks in the application process at both the state and federal level have
increasingly forced employers to guess when and if their foreign guest workers will arrive. But not every employer has experienced the delays in getting guest workers. The Grand Teton Lodge Company received approval for about 200 guest workers and they will arrive in time for the summer.
