Jackson Hole Tram Now a Part of Teton Village Expansion Debate
Jackson, WY – The expansion of Teton Village comes before the Teton County Commission for a second time Tuesday, this time with a new twist. The development group behind the expansion says approving their plan might help replace the aerial tram that rises to the top of Rendezvous Mountain about Teton Village and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. In recent newspaper ads, Snake River Associates said the expansion could boost the local economy, attracting investment and making it possible to operate a tram. Teton County commissioners rejected the SRA plan in May, but agreed to reconsider the decision.
